NOTICE TO CHAPTER 7 AND 13 TRUSTEES REGARDING TREATMENT OF RECOVERY REBATES AND TAX CREDITS FOR CONSUMER BANKRUPTCY DEBTORS UNDER THE AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT OF 2021

All 341 Meeting of Creditors for the week of March 16, 2020 are going to be rescheduled. If you have any particular questions contact the assigned Trustee. It is likely that all Meeting of Creditors through the end of March will be rescheduled as well. 


Consistent with any decision made by the Bankruptcy Court, the United States Trustee, along with all chapter 7, 12 and 13 trustees, will accommodate all reasonable requests for continuances of section 341 meetings by debtors and their respective attorneys who may be exhibiting flu like symptoms, who have been diagnosed or exposed to a person with COVID-19, are within a higher risk group for COVID-19 complications per CDC guidelines, or have recently traveled to an area outside of the United States identified by the CDC as being an area with widespread or ongoing community spread of COVID-19.
